let's be clear
This product was not "born after many years of coffee competitions"—we give birth to children. And we did not travel the world to research it—that would be a waste of fossil fuel and money. It is not scientifically tested—use your taste buds. That means there will be no ice-core v2!
Size matters
Here we are more serious. Use the following guide:
Know someone with a 3d printer?
Download the ice-core 3D Model.zip and make it yourself, [email protected] how you go. Got a lathe? Get to work. We'll send you some raw material < $
It does not change the taste of your coffee
Only you can change your coffee.
Ice-core is extremely satisfying to watch as you squish and rotate grind. Deep baskets (eg: Cafelat Robot) love ice-core because you can tamp with your eyes closed. Push cylinder into hole and be 100% level.
Circular economy
We're working with an optical lens manufacturer to supply material from a waste recovery stream of their plastic molding process. The goal is to sell ice-cores from re-used materials to save people buying metal ones which are much more GHG emissions intensive.
Free shipping
Not really mate. Nothing is free. But we'll cover it.
It's like Bauhaus for your beans
